AMS-IX and Extreme IX are thrilled to unveil their strategic collaboration in India. The primary objective of this partnership is to simplify the process of connecting to AMS-IX Mumbai, rendering it effortless and seamless for customers.

By harnessing the robust infrastructure of the Extreme IX fabric, customers no longer need to establish a physical network presence at a location housing an AMS-IX Point of Presence (PoP) to access AMS-IX Mumbai. Instead, they can conveniently connect at any of the 15 Points of Presence where Extreme IX operates, instantly gaining access to over 60 networks connected to AMS-IX Mumbai.

“This service is cost-effective for many companies, because in many cases your network is already situated in an Extreme IX enabled datacenter, which means you don’t need to invest in expensive physical equipment or new colocation to connect to AMS-IX in Mumbai. We expect that the new locations in combination with the new competitive pricing will be of great appeal to customer” says Onno Bos, International Partnership Director of AMS-IX.
