Joining AMS-IX gives you the opportunity to connect to a multitude of networks and improve your network performance.
There are 2 simple ways to connect to AMS-IX, just choose the path that is right for you.
Are you located at one of our colocations?
Then you can connect via our partner HGC.
All you need to do to join us is:
- Request an Autonomous System Number (ASN) from a Local or Regional Internet Registry: RIPE-NCC, APNIC, LACNIC, ARIN.
- Contact HGC and sign a contract.
What happens once you have signed the contract?
- HGC will submit an application and connection order form via our customer portal.
- We will provide you with the demarcation/assignment details of your connection. With these, you will be able to request a cross connect (if applicable). You will also receive the IP address and instructions to configure your equipment correctly.
- Once you have completed the configuration (and, if applicable, the cross connect is connected), please contact AMS-IX US NOC. We will help you test the connection and bring it into production.
Are you not located at one of our colocations?
No problem, you can also connect to AMS-IX remotely via our trusted partner Megaport at any location where they have a presence.
Connect via Megaport
- Sign up for an account / Sign in at megaport.al
- Create a megaport in one of the locations already enabled
- Add a virtual cross connect to AMS-IX and have that deployed in 59 seconds
