How to connect
There are two simple ways to connect to AMS-IX.
Connect directly
You can connect to AMS-IX Hong Kong directly at the colocation where we have a presence (Sino Favour datacenter). Just follow the steps below.
What do you need to do to join us?
- Request an Autonomous System Number (ASN) from a Local or Regional Internet Registry: RIPE-NCC, APNIC, LACNIC, ARIN.
- Fill-in your application form and order a connection in our customer portal (under the ‘Connections’ tab).
- Sign a Connection Agreement.
What happens once you have signed the contract?
- We will provide you with the demarcation/assignment details of your connection. With these, you will be able to request a cross connect (if applicable). You will also receive the IP address and instructions to configure your equipment correctly.
- Once you have completed the configuration (and, if applicable, the cross connect is connected), please contact our NOC team . They will help you test the connection and bring it into production.
Connect remotely via a partner
You can connect to AMS-IX via one of our partners.
What do you need to do to join us?
- Find the right partner for you depending on your location.
- Contact your chosen partner directly and they will arrange a connection for you.
