How to connect

How to connect

There are different ways to connect to AMS-IX Lagos. follow the steps below to get started.

Connect directly

You can connect to AMS-IX Lagos directly at any of the colocations where we have a presence.

What do you need to do to join us?

  1. Request an Autonomous System Number (ASN) from a Local or Regional Internet Registry: RIPE-NCC, APNIC, LACNIC, ARIN.
  2. Fill-in your application form and order a connection in our customer portal (under the ‘Connections’ tab).
  3. Sign a Connection Agreement.

What happens once you have signed the contract?

  1. We will provide you with the demarcation/assignment details of your connection. With these, you will be able to request a cross connect (if applicable). You will also receive the IP address and instructions to configure your equipment correctly.
  2. Once you have completed the configuration (and, if applicable, the cross connect is connected), please contact our NOC team . They will help you test the connection and bring it into production.

You can also connect to AMS-IX Lagos remotely.

You can reach our platform remotely from multiple locations around the world.
