Joining AMS-IX gives you the opportunity to connect to a multitude of networks and improve your network performance. Connecting to AMS-IX is easy, just choose the path that is right for you.
There are two simple ways to connect to AMS-IX.
Are you located at Sify Technologies Rabale and/or GPX datacenters?
Then you can connect to AMS-IX directly.
Are you located at one of our colocations?
Then you can connect to AMS-IX Mumbai directly at the colocation where we have a presence ().
All you need to do to join us is:
- Contact Sify
- Order a cross connect from your router to the IX route
What happens once you have placed your order?
We will provision your port

What do you need to do to join us?
- Own an ASN. If you don't have an ASN, you can request one at your Local or Regional Internet Registry: RIPE-NCC, APNIC, LACNIC, ARIN.
- Fill in the application form and order a connection in our customer portal (under the ‘Connections’ tab).
- Sign a Connection Agreement.
Are you located in another Data Centre in Mumbai?
No problem! We can handle the entire process for you or you can choose a third party transport provider to access Sify Technologies Rabale and/or GPX datacenter(s):
1. Let AMS-IX Mumbai handle the entire process
- Contact Sify
- Order a cross connect to our equipment with your colocation provider
- Sign a transport order form
- We will provision a port from the connected data centre to the IX node
- We will install a cross connect to the IX router
2. Choose a third party transport provider to access Sify Technologies Rabale and/or GPX datacenter(s)
- Contact Sify
- Provide us with the third party rack details at Sify Technologies Rabale and/or GPX datacenter(s)
- We will install a cross connect between the provided rack and the IX router
