Word from the CEO:

Job Witteman

Overall, 2016 has been another eventful and successful year for AMS-IX. Late 2015, the Dutch parliament recognised the Digital Infrastructure with AMS-IX in its heart as the third Dutch Mainport, along with Schiphol Airport and the Port of Rotterdam. “Well-deserved recognition and a big boost for the entire Digital Infrastructure industry, of which AMS-IX is such an important pillar. We’re now noticing that it’s more clear to people what AMS-IX does and why this is essential.”

“This report, of which I’m very proud, and our ‘third Mainport’ status have opened doors, for example with the Mayor of Amsterdam and our Ministry of Economic Affairs. This benefits our country’s international reputation and business settlement climate. Besides excellent connectivity, The Netherlands offers political stability.”
